Goodbye Jekyll, Hello Hashnode

Keeping it simple

Continuing my usual routine of blogging, where I write an entry then come back 6 to 12 months later, the first thing I do is try and get my Jekyll blog to work locally and then waste several hours wrestling with Ruby only to then repeat the process in Github actions when it inevitably fails to deploy.

I decided to just switch to a hosted platform, I spent some time dabbling with wordpress.com before settling on Hashnode. I’ll be importing my very short blog into this over the weekend.

Hopefully I will be writing more over the coming year.
